90mm Macro

Traditionally your next move was a telephoto lens but in putting together a collection of lenses for these bodies I was minded to try and keep focal length jumps to about x1.4 of the previous choice which would of taken us to about 85mm. Moreover this added a twist to it in that this is a great choice for flattering portraits and at the same time allows you take take 1:2 half life size close ups of flowers and models.
This is Tamron's classic Model 52B F2.5 which as good as using a macro 2x converter from the likes of Teleplus with the standard lens, is money permitting cable of much higher quality work.
To take this to 1:1 lifesize an extension tube is fitted at the rear of the lens.
